The WLg-LINK-OEM module used in the ACCESS POINT mode makes it possible to create an industrial WiFi wireless network from any industrial equipment featuring an 10/100 Ethernet interface.

Used in the BRIDGE mode, the WLg-LINK-OEM enables to connect any industrial equipment featuring a 10/100 Ethernet interface to the WiFi wireless network.

WLg-LINK-OEM module can also be used as a WiFi network repeater (WDS) in order to extend radio coverage, device supports both INFRASTRUCTURE and AD-HOC modes.

The WLg-LINK-OEM device is also designed to work as a wireless bridge between the wired MODBUS/TCP or PROFINET protocols and the radio network, this feature allows to connect any MODBUS/TCP or PROFINET equipments to this network.

Thanks to its built-in WEB interface, the setup of the device is achieved using the web browser installed on your computer (Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla ...).
WLg-LINK-OEM doesn't require any additional software to be installed on your computer (no peripheral driver needed).

Product rely on the IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/h standards (2.4 GHz & 5 GHz), it features an Ethernet interface available on a RJ45 connector or on a 4 pins HE10 connector for the TTL model.

The radio link is made safe by using most modern methods of protection: WEP 64/128 bits, WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK and authentification IEEE 802.1x (RADIUS).
The nominal range (open space) of the module is 300 m for a transmit power of +20 dBm and -92 dBm in reception (a/g modes) and -95 dBm (IEEE 802.11b mode).

Its size is extremely compact (L:89 x W:51 x H:20 mm) in order to be integrated in any equipment equipped with an Ethernet port, consequently opening to equipment access to the wireless world.
It can be connected the a printed circuit board through a female HE10 connector.

It can be powered from the DC power source (+3.3VDC or +5VDC) for a 3.5W typical consumption.

Note (1):
Only one of the two power pins +3.3VDC (pin 2) or +5VDC (pin 15) should be used simultaneously to power the WLg-LINK-OEM.
Powering from the +3.3VC power pin apply power directly to IC as the +5VDC go through a power regulator.

Application examples

The WLg-LINK-OEM enables to connect two Ethernet networks or two Ethernet equipments in the AD-HOC mode (direct radio connection without infrastructure) or within a radio network controlled by an Access Point as well.
The WLg-LINK-OEM can also be configured to work as a WiFi access Point.

WLg-LINK-OEM also supports the MODBUS/TCP & PROFINET protocols, thus you can easily replace a network cable by the radio link to connect any industrial equipment which rely on these protocols.
