Intrinsically Safe ATEX DECT Handset
The ATEX DECT Handset is a cordless telephone with incorporated message paging function and telephony in one compact and robust DECT Handset. The  ATEX DECT Handset features seamless handover, roaming and encryption. The  ATEX DECT Handset makes internal and external telephone calls possible and is compatible with all analog PABX fatures such as follow me, automatic call back, call transfer and hold calls.

The  ATEX DECT Handset has a redial memory function which stores the last three numbers dialed, and an internal telephone book for up to 200 numbers and names, alphabetically sorted. The  ATEX DECT Handset features Caller Line identification Presentation for calls between  ATEX DECT Handsets and a handsfree function.

 The  ATEX DECT Handset has a stack specifically made for paging messages. Messages can be locked, deleted and forwarded to other  ATEX DECT Handset  or DP6000 pagers/ transceivers. The message stack of the   ATEX DECT Handset has storage positions for up to 20 messages, each message may contain up to 48 text characters and 12 additional characters for date, time and message type. The   ATEX DECT Handset  also has a silent mode which sets the  ATEX DECT Handset  in a do not disturb environment, in this mode the  ATEX DECT Handset will be silent of phone calls and paging messages, the user will only be LED indicator and vibrator 

Reception of paging messages
The  ATEX DECT Handset can received the following types of paging messages:

Normal: Paging message with normal priority and bleep pattern.
Urgent: Paging message with high priority. The  ATEX DECT Handset wil bleep until the message is manually acknowledged.
Emergency: Paging message with the highest priority. The  ATEX DECT Handset will bleep until the message is manually acknowledged.
Mailbox: Special paging message for telemetry purposes to monitor processes like temperature constants. Controls and Indicators

Unique to the Wireless Telephone DECT 4080 is the SMS function which stores 14 messages of 72 characters each.
