W25 - Voice / IP / Fax / Data
Ericsson's W25 3G Fixed Wireless Terminal is a complete
voice and data solution for the 3G network. Home or small office users
who want to cut their landline to mobile call costs or get rid of their
landline completely will particularly benefit from the W25.
The unit operates by mains power; connects to a landline
telephone or PC; and houses a 3G SIM card from any 3G network. If access
to a 3G network is not possible, the W25 can also operate using any GSM
SIM card. The SIM card ensures all calls are sent over the mobile network
so users that are making a high number of landline to mobile calls are
being charged at mobile to mobile rates. Capped plans and free calls between
mobiles are two of the main plans from which users will benefit. The W20
is also capable of IP faxing.
Marine and remote communication is made easy with the
Ericsson W25. If accessing the Internet via a landline connection is not
possible or convenient, the W25 can operate via Wireless Local Loop to
access the Internet. Using the cell network to access the Internet is
more cost efficient than using satellite. Most times it can be one fifth
of the price of satellite.
A four port router, Wifi for wireless access and two
USB 2.0 ports ensure the W25 can fulfil any user's data communication
needs.
Ericsson's W25 Fixed Wireless Terminal is the ultimate
solution for high speed marine and remote broadband communication.
With broadband data speeds starting at 1.8 Mbps, which
will increase to 3.6 by December 2006; the clear crisp voice quality of
a landline telephone, four methods to connect a PC or lap top, IP fax
communication abilities and Ericsson reliability.
The W25 will not disappoint.
